Dental Assistant (Maternity Cover) at the Clinic for Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Surgery 60-100%
fixed-term from immediately or by arrangement
Your Main Tasks
- Chairside assistance during general clinic consultations as well as dental treatments and oral surgical procedures
- Taking X-rays
- Planning, coordinating and preparing consultations
- Documenting findings and preparing cost estimates
- Reception and care of our patients
- Recording and ensuring appointment scheduling and recalls
- Recording of medication and material services
- Responsibility for compliance with and implementation of statutory hygiene regulations
- Blood sampling from patients
Your Profile
- Completed training as a dental assistant or medical practice assistant EFZ
- Several years of professional experience, ideally already in oral surgery and/or oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery
- Independent working style and friendly manner
- High social competence and willingness to contribute in a large team
- Willingness to work in shifts (once a month weekend duty in the morning)
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written (any additional language is an advantage)
- Good user knowledge of clinic or dental practice information systems (e.g. KISIM, ZaWin) is an advantage
