For our client, an established and successful IT service company in the Baar area, we are looking to strengthen the engineering team with a System Engineer (m/f/d). In a small, well-coordinated team, you will manage long-standing customer environments and take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of modern IT infrastructures.
Your Tasks
- Support, operation and further development of Microsoft-based IT infrastructures (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Handling support and engineering tasks at 2nd and 3rd level as well as occasional support at 1st level
- Administration and further development of virtualisation, security and network environments
- Participation in infrastructure projects, migrations and automation initiatives
- Close collaboration with customers and gradual assumption of own customer responsibility
Our Requirements
- Completed training in the field of computer science (EFZ, HF, FH or equivalent)
- Several years of experience as a system engineer or system administrator, ideally in a service provider environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies, virtualisation as well as basic understanding of networks and IT security
- Independent, customer-oriented and reliable working style with a high willingness to learn
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; driving licence is an advantage
