Automation Technician (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner develops, produces, and distributes sophisticated plastic injection moulded parts and assemblies for the industrial, medical, and laboratory sectors. Their range of services extends from development and design, through injection moulding and subsequent operations, to worldwide distribution. To meet the high-quality demands of their customers, their products are manufactured according to medical GMP standards, food standards, or industrial standards.

Responsibilities:
You ensure the smooth operation of machines and systems by quickly analysing and resolving faults
With a clear focus on efficiency and safety, you carry out planned maintenance and keep systems in top condition
You modernise and automate systems and adapt controls to new requirements
You manage highly automated production lines and optimise them in terms of reliability and performance
You create and maintain maintenance plans, documentation, and system records
As a technical coach, you support your team, share knowledge, and promote joint development
You carry out electrical installations in the environment of machines and controls while keeping standards and safety in mind
You actively participate in innovation projects, test new technology, and accompany its introduction
In your role as operational electrician, you ensure the system integration and technical reliability of the systems
Qualifications:
Completed training in an electrical profession (automation technician, electrical installer, or similar)
Experience in maintenance, repair, and optimisation of automated machines and controls
Confident in electrical installations, fault finding, and troubleshooting
PLC knowledge (e.g. Siemens S7, Schneider Electric) and good understanding of control systems
Knowledge in drive technology, pneumatics, mechanics, and hydraulics
