Head of Gynaecology Breast Senology (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take on responsibility as the lead physician for the conservative and operative care of senological patients in a DKG-certified breast centre with a high case volume and interdisciplinary orientation. You will lead and further develop the senological specialisation within the entire gynaecological and obstetric service spectrum and bring your expertise especially in oncological, oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery. Additionally, as a member of the medical management team, you will help shape the strategic and professional direction of senology across locations and actively engage in process optimisations as well as projects to further develop clinical workflows. A key part of your role is the training and education of assistant and senior physicians, particularly in the field of senology. Furthermore, the position offers the opportunity to engage in clinical research and to utilise a broad clinical field of activity in a collegial, interprofessional environment.
Responsibilities:
- You will assume the professional and organisational leadership of gynaecology and breast senology.
- In this role, you ensure high-quality, evidence-based care of patients in the breast centre.
- As Head of Gynaecology Breast Senology, you will lead and develop your interdisciplinary team both professionally and personally.
- You coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic pathways and work closely with internal and external specialist departments.
- In this role, you commit to continuous quality assurance and the further development of treatment standards.
- You represent the specialist area internally and externally and actively contribute to strategic projects and developments.

- You have several years of professional experience at a professional level in a comparable role.
- You act confidently in your field and take responsibility for demanding tasks.
- You analyse complex issues precisely and derive targeted solutions.
- You work in a structured, reliable manner and maintain an overview even under time pressure.
