Group Accountant (m/f/d)

Role:
Our client is an internationally active trading company with a wide range of products related to building, renovating, DIY and gardening. It caters to both private individuals and professional craftsmen, combining an extensive product range with expert advice and customer-oriented services.

Responsibilities:
You accompany the consolidation of the financial statements of international group companies and ensure reliable and high-quality group reporting.
You critically review reported financial data, investigate deviations and coordinate open issues with the responsible contacts on site.
You carry out consolidation measures, including capital and debt consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, elimination of intercompany profits and foreign currency translations.
You prepare the necessary postings and analyses and support the preparation of the group balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, notes and management report.
In exchange with external auditors and internal specialists from accounting, controlling, tax and IT, you ensure a smooth flow of information.
Qualifications:
Your professional foundation is a higher education in finance and accounting or an equivalent qualification.
You have already gained professional experience in group accounting, group accounting, accounting or audit.
You understand the key requirements of group accounting standards and can classify common consolidation procedures.
You have good oral and written German and English skills.
