The Institute of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine provides over 30,000 services annually in outpatient and inpatient anaesthesiology, in in-hospital and out-of-hospital emergency medicine as well as in acute and chronic pain medicine. Within the framework of highly specialised medicine at the University Hospital Zurich, the Institute of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine also has service mandates for transplantation surgery of all solid organs and the care of all cardiac and vascular surgical procedures as well as for the treatment of severe burn injuries and multiple injuries.

Senior Physician (m/f/d) for Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine 80-100%

Your main tasks
- Anaesthesiological care of patients from all specialist areas
- Operational activity in all surgical areas
- Participation in duty operations
- Supervision and training of assistant physicians and specialists as well as experts in anaesthesia nursing
- Commitment to the clinical and academic development of the institute
Your profile
- You are highly motivated, resilient, solution-oriented and creative
- A completed doctorate is required
- You have completed specialist training in anaesthesiology with experience in regional anaesthesia
- Ideally, you already have leadership experience
- Own research activity is an advantage
- With your empathetic and integrative personality, you sustainably promote interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration, team spirit and patient trust
