The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Human Resources Management department under the leadership of Ines Doherr, Tanja Romano is seeking an engaged personality as an HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement. You will support managers, actively shape HR processes, and contribute to fostering a respectful and constructive working environment. The workload is 70%.
Your tasks
- You support managers in their daily work and assist them in leading their teams effectively.
- Independent recruitment in collaboration with the line, including application processes, interviews, and selection.
- Advising and supporting managers on HR topics such as personnel planning, development, performance, remuneration, and conflict management.
- You contribute to the further development of HR processes and help to make procedures clearer, more efficient, and people-oriented.
- You support employees in challenging situations, thereby contributing to a healthy, constructive working environment.
- You bring ideas on how we can use HR figures and key performance indicators to make targeted decisions and make developments visible.
- You help shape change and development processes so that they are practical, understandable, and sustainable.
Your profile
- You have HR training (e.g. federal specialist certificate HR specialist) and ideally further education at HF/FH level (e.g. CAS/MAS HRM, business administration or labour law).
- You have experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or business partner role, and enjoy supporting managers.
- You have good knowledge of labour law and feel confident in demanding conversation and conflict situations.
- You are interested in business management contexts and the use of key figures to support decisions.
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and take responsibility where you can make a difference.
- You are open to pragmatically further developing existing processes and actively contributing improvement suggestions.
- You have very confident skills in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with SwissSalary, PEP or Haufe Umantis is an advantage.
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
