Our partner’s innovative technologies have a wide range of applications, from single-part production to mass production, from small businesses to large corporations, and are used in various industries. Key sectors include the automotive and automotive supplier industry, medical technology, aerospace, tools, tool and mould making, transport & heavy industry, mechanical engineering, energy, and precision mechanics.
Responsibilities:
Develop global procurement strategies for cables and electrical components.
Be responsible for the selection and further development of international suppliers.
Conduct price negotiations and implement cost optimisation measures.
Analyse procurement costs using should-cost and TCO considerations.
Consolidate volumes and identify savings potential across locations.
Draft contracts considering risks and compliance.
Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvement measures.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, category management, or commodity management.
Practical knowledge in international procurement within an industrial company.
Experience with supplier negotiations and complex international purchasing projects.
Confident handling of cost analyses, TCO, and other procurement optimisation tools.
Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, risk management, and contract law.
Analytical working style and experience collaborating with international departments.
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
French or Italian language skills are an advantage.
