Electrician for Maintenance and Automation

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Completed training as an electrician, automation technician or mechatronics technician with advanced expertise in electrical engineering
• Business fluent German, good English skills and confident handling of MS Office
• Strong analytical thinking as well as a structured, methodical approach to new challenges and smaller projects
• Willingness to travel about 2 weeks per year, willingness for on-call duty and a valid driving licence

About the Job

In this role, you ensure that our production facilities operate reliably, safely and efficiently. On the one hand, your focus is on preventive maintenance. You carry out inspections, maintenance and improvements, prepare maintenance work and document it carefully in maintenance plans and plant documents. You ensure that our standards are consistently implemented. On the other hand, you take over reactive maintenance in the event of unplanned downtime. You systematically analyse faults, resolve them sustainably and ensure proper and safety-compliant repairs.

Furthermore, you work on the continuous improvement of systems and processes, coordinate external service providers and contribute your technical know-how to projects such as system optimisations, new acquisitions or site expansion. Compliance with safety, environmental and quality guidelines is a matter of course for you. In addition, you support other departments, think cross-functionally and are willing to take on on-call duty if required.
