You schedule components and raw materials according to current demand.
You monitor delivery dates and coordinate necessary adjustments with suppliers.
You obtain quotes, compare conditions, and support price negotiations.
You manage and further develop existing suppliers in day-to-day business.
You maintain material data and relevant scheduling information in SAP.
You clarify quality deviations with suppliers and responsible internal departments.
You coordinate returns and ensure correct credit notes.
You collaborate with various departments on supply chain and optimisation projects.
Qualifications:
Technical apprenticeship in the mechanical field, for example as a polymechanic or designer.
Further training in purchasing or business administration is desirable.
Professional experience in technical purchasing or production environment is an advantage.
Confident understanding of mechanical components and industrial manufacturing processes.
Experience in dealing with suppliers and internal contacts.
User knowledge of SAP and MS Office is preferred.
Independent and structured working style with high reliability and initiative.
Good level of German; English skills are an advantage.
