Job Description 

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you support the Restaurant Manager in leading the team and ensuring smooth operations in the restaurant. You take on additional tasks, set an example in food safety, quality, service, and hygiene, and contribute to the development of the restaurant. You coach and motivate team members, coordinate priorities, and promote a positive, respectful working atmosphere. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Leading the team with empathy, respect, and patience 
• Open communication and constructive conflict management 
• Setting strategic priorities and coordinating daily operations 
• Coaching and supporting shift leaders and crew for optimal performance 
• Ensuring standards in food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, and hygiene 
• Using management tools for planning, cash handling, ordering, and inventory 
• Analysing KPIs and supporting development initiatives 
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee retention 
• Handling complaints and creating feel-good moments for guests 
• Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting 

Requirements 

• Experience in team leadership or hospitality is an advantage 
• Strong communication and conflict management skills 
• Analytical, organised, and tech-savvy 
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn 
• Reliable, trustworthy, and resilient 
• Good command of the national language (spoken and written)
