Cyber security begins long before a security incident. We are looking for a technically strong personality who further develops modern security architectures, recognises threats and protects IT infrastructures with consistent security-by-design.
Responsibilities:
Further development and operation of modern IT security solutions
Analysis and securing of complex IT infrastructures and cloud environments
Implementation of zero-trust concepts and modern security architectures
Further development of identity & access management
Monitoring and analysis of security-relevant events
Working with SIEM, EDR and XDR solutions
Investigation of security incidents and conducting technical analyses
Development and optimisation of security monitoring and alerting
Automation of recurring security processes
Support in vulnerability management and technical security assessments
Implementation and further development of endpoint security concepts
Collaboration on security and cloud projects
Evaluation of new technologies and threat scenarios
Development of technical measures to improve cyber resilience
Creation of security concepts, documentation and technical standards
Qualifications:
Experience in IT security engineering or cyber security
Solid knowledge in network, endpoint or cloud security
Experience with modern security technologies
Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, XDR or comparable solutions
Understanding of identity & access management
Interest in zero trust and security automation
Good knowledge of modern cloud platforms such as Azure is an advantage
Analytical and structured working style
Enjoyment of technical challenges and complex security topics
High security awareness and ability to work independently
