Active in the field of day family care in the canton of Geneva, this organisation wishes to strengthen its management team and is looking for a Finance and Administration Assistant. The position offers a great opportunity for someone with a good foundation in finance and accounting who wishes to gradually broaden their scope towards coordination, management, and oversight of activities.
Your tasks with your new employer
- Supervise financial and accounting operations and participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets
- Manage operational administrative activities and contribute to the smooth running of the information system
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and reliability of processes
- Coordinate the management of infrastructure, equipment, and associated services
- Manage an administrative team of about 5 people and promote effective and constructive collaboration
- Participate in projects to improve and optimise the organisation
- Contribute to resolving operational issues
- Support the development of digital tools and information systems
- Provide support within the management team
You offer your new employer
- Hold a diploma in financial management, accounting, administration, or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally have 2 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
- Be fluent in French
- Have initial experience in management or team coordination
- Master financial and accounting management principles as well as internal control processes
- Be proficient with accounting and payroll ERP systems; knowledge of MCH2 or Opale Blue Pearl is an asset
- Show a genuine interest in digital tools, information systems, and IT-related issues
- Demonstrate rigour, autonomy, reliability, and excellent organisational skills
