Responsibilities:
You manage international suppliers during series production until the discontinuation of the respective products.
You ensure the material supply of production sites and logistics centres together with the responsible departments.
In technical procurement matters, you clarify manufacturing possibilities and examine cost-optimised alternatives with suppliers.
Price analyses, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations are part of your duties.
Through targeted analyses, you identify saving opportunities and implement appropriate measures.
You coordinate product-related procurement topics with product management, development, quality assurance, and planning.
Supplier evaluations and participation in supplier audits complement your tasks.
In SAP MM, you keep purchasing-relevant master data up to date and maintain the required information.
Qualifications:
You have a technical or business degree or a technical apprenticeship with solid purchasing experience.
Further training in purchasing as well as knowledge of modern procurement models are advantageous.
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or project purchasing in an internationally active industrial company are required.
Your technical understanding enables you to assess complex components and assemblies.
You are familiar with SAP MM or comparable ERP systems as well as common Microsoft Office applications.
You conduct negotiations confidently and communicate appropriately at different hierarchical levels.
You work in a team-oriented manner, act on your own initiative, and are willing to travel internationally occasionally (up to 20%).
Very good German and good English skills as well as an independent working style are expected.
