Certified Surgical Nurse

We cover the entire spectrum of surgical care and work interdisciplinarily with the specialist fields. With the surgical platform, we have created a new, independent unit that encompasses all surgical areas of the Inselspital and the regional hospitals Aarberg and Riggisberg.

What to expect

• You assist and serve in operations while adhering to hygiene standards
• You take responsibility for the proper preparation and follow-up of medical-technical devices
• You perform location-adapted duties including weekend and on-call service
• You handle administrative tasks such as operation-specific patient documentation and maintain standards and protocols

What you bring

• Training as a certified nurse
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the operating theatre
• Willingness to undertake the shortened further training to become a certified specialist in surgical technology HF
• Adaptability and openness to new things
• Resilient personality with planning and organisational skills, sense of responsibility and flexibility
