You know nursing. We don’t need to explain that to you anymore. Perhaps you want to use your experience differently in the future: less traditional bedside care, more case management, advice, and personal responsibility. And this within a working model that is not exactly standard in nursing.

For an established organisation in the outpatient nursing sector in the Basel region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced

Case-leading Nursing Specialist HF/FH 80-100% - Out of the Shift Carousel. Into Case Management...

Your task:

You accompany people who are cared for at home, as well as their relatives. You are not simply an executing nursing specialist, but a professional contact person, advisor, and coordinator.

You

• clarify care situations and individual needs
• create and review care plans
• advise, instruct, and support relatives
• ensure the professional quality of care
• document accurately and promptly
• coordinate with doctors and other involved parties as needed
• take on a significant administrative share
• occasionally provide practical care and on-call services

The focus is clearly on case management, advice, coaching, and organisation. Not on traditional shift work at the bedside.

You bring with you:

• You hold a nursing diploma recognised in Switzerland HF/FH/DNII/AKP and have several years of professional experience
• Ideally, you already know outpatient care from your own experience. Spitex experience is therefore a great advantage

Equally important are:

• an independent and structured way of working
• good communication skills
• enjoyment in advising and supporting
• confidence in administration and documentation
• organisational skills and healthy pragmatism
• Category B driving licence
• good IT user skills
• French language skills would be an additional asset
• And yes: life experience certainly does not hurt in this role.

What makes this position special

Here, nursing knowledge, advice, field service, and administration come together. The activity basically takes place from Monday to Friday. This brings a work rhythm that many nursing specialists appreciate after years of shift work. The role is not completely "away from the bedside". But clearly further away from the classic nursing routine than many other functions. Perhaps you do not want to leave nursing at all. Perhaps you just want to work differently within it.
