Operational Buyer (m/f/d)

You take on operational procurement and simultaneously support strategic purchasing topics

You schedule purchasing parts, monitor delivery dates and ensure reliable material supply

You analyse procurement markets and develop new suppliers and sources of supply at home and abroad

You independently conduct price, terms and contract negotiations and build sustainable supplier relationships

You monitor supplier performance and initiate appropriate measures if necessary

You participate in supplier evaluations and audits and ensure compliance with defined quality requirements

You maintain and update material and supplier master data

You work closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, quality and logistics and actively advance purchasing

Thun

Commercial training, for example as a Technical Buyer, Technical Clerk or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a technical or industrial company

Good business management knowledge and a solid understanding of commercial processes

Negotiation skills, assertiveness and enjoyment in contact with suppliers

Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style.
Good English skills in spoken and written form

Confident handling of MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus

Completed technical vocational training, ideally related to an industrial or technical environment
