The Early Childhood Service works daily for the well-being and development of children aged 0 to 4 years. Within the VéloRouge nursery, which welcomes 32 children in multi-age groups, we place discovery, fulfilment, and respect for the child’s rhythm at the heart of our support.

You wish to join a committed multidisciplinary team and contribute to offering children an environment rich in experiences and discoveries.

To complete the Workshop team within the CielBleu nursery, the Early Childhood Service offers you the following position:

Social and Educational Assistant at 60% (M/F) - Grade 8

At the heart of discovery workshops

Position over 4 daysfrom 9am - 12:45pm then 2:30pm - 4:45pm (including midday meal provision)

WEDNESDAY OFF

Mission:

• Actively participate in the organisation, planning, and facilitation of Workshops composed of awakening and educational activities adapted for each age group;
• Participate in the management and organisation of visits, outings, and exhibitions;
• Within the Workshops, ensure the reception and supervision (care, outings, meals, etc.) of children aged 12 months to 5 years, in accordance with the framework, values, and educational project of the institution;
• Enthusiastically and committedly participate in the smooth running of the institution within a multidisciplinary team;
• Promote the development of each child and know how to communicate observations made to the team;
• Know and apply the procedures and legal and regulatory requirements in terms of health, safety, and prevention;
• Participate in institutional conferences in the evening and other events organised by the service and the Municipality;
• Create decorative materials to make a warm and family-like living space;
• Participate in outings and be motivated to go out in all weather conditions.

Your profile:

• You hold a Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a Social and Educational Assistant (a specialisation in early childhood is an asset);
• You have proven experience in the field of early childhood;
• You hold a PBLS (Pediatric Basic Life Support) certificate less than 3 months old at the time of engagement;
• You have an interest in multi-age reception;
• You possess a strong sense of creativity and are proactive in proposals and facilitation;
• You demonstrate a positive attitude towards various situations and value the recognition of children;
• You are responsible, enthusiastic, and involved in team life; You show flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the institution.
