Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d)
Your Job
- Carrying out mechanical repairs, overhauls and modifications on locomotives, track construction machines and rail vehicles
- Overhaul and assembly of mechanical parts, assemblies and modules according to sketches, technical drawings, diagrams and compilations
- Independent functional testing of the assembled assemblies and modules based on technical drawings and diagrams
- Supporting the electrical department with simple electrical work during repairs and overhauls
- Assisting with the internal commissioning and acceptance of machines
- Providing on-call service and telephone support outside normal working hours
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ (ideally with a focus on maintenance), agricultural machinery, truck or construction machinery mechanic
- Several years of practical experience in assembly, repair and overhaul work
- Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Driving licence category B is mandatory
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage
- Team-oriented, communicative and reliable personality with a structured way of working
- High level of commitment and independent working style, even in demanding situations
- Technical understanding and enjoyment of practical problem solving
