The company MEDIN Immobilier SA (MIAG) is the new centre of expertise for all real estate matters of the Biel Hospital Centre. With the construction of the new hospital in Brügg (BE), the development of rental spaces for the MEDIN outpatient clinic at Biel station, as well as several additional assignments, MIAG is laying the foundations for its future real estate portfolio, focused on the health and hospitality sectors.

Over the next five years, the emphasis will be on successfully implementing investments in this foundational portfolio. It is exclusively a CREM (Corporate Real Estate Management) portfolio. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Your tasks – our position

• Develop a growth strategy for the next 5 to 10 years.
• Ensure strategic planning and management of the real estate portfolio, including investments.
• Actively identify and analyse investment and portfolio development opportunities, including conducting potential analyses.
• Prepare, negotiate and conclude Service Level Agreements with the relevant organisational units.
• Develop and monitor property strategies.
• Design an internal space inventory system, including its management or recharging, as well as define guidelines and standards regarding space efficiency and occupancy.
• Prepare reports on building conditions as well as maintenance and renovation strategies.
• Represent the Portfolio Management area in cross-functional projects.
• Be responsible for optimising processes within MIAG.
• Ensure, in collaboration with the General Manager, the management of the financial model.

Your skills – our expectations

• Higher education in business administration and/or in construction or real estate.
• Several years of professional experience and solid knowledge of the real estate sector, particularly in portfolio management and asset management, with a focus on CREM.
• Experience in the healthcare or hospitality sectors is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of space planning topics.
• Enterprising and results-oriented personality, approaching challenges with a positive attitude and developing creative solutions that can be convincingly defended.
• Excellent strategic and conceptual skills, with strong analytical and comprehension abilities.
• Structured working method and solid methodological skills.
• Stress resistance, flexibility and team spirit.
• Good interpersonal skills and negotiation talent.
• Good understanding of financial models and valuation models.
• Analytical mind and long-term vision.
• Proficiency in German and French in a negotiation context is an advantage.
