Your Tasks and Perspectives

Care of patients across the entire spectrum of clinical hepatology (including liver transplant evaluations and follow-up care of transplanted patients)
Care of patients with rare liver diseases
Co-responsibility for inpatient and outpatient care, participation in consultation and on-call duties
Leadership, supervision and training of assistant physicians, student teaching
Close interdisciplinary collaboration with internal and external partners (e.g. transplant centre, interventional radiology, visceral surgery, internal medicine, general practice etc.)

Completed specialist title in gastroenterology (including MEBEKO recognition for foreign qualifications)
Ideally a specialist title in hepatology or interest in acquiring this internally at our clinic
Team-oriented, resilient and committed personality
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1 level)
Solid experience in abdominal sonography as well as desirable knowledge in contrast-enhanced sonography and liver biopsies

Comprehensive hepatological care of complex patients including the implementation of modern diagnostic and interventional procedures
Participation in complex liver treatments, interdisciplinary case discussions and endoscopic examinations (gastroscopies, variceal ligations, colonoscopies)
