Clinical Application Specialist (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner is an independent, university competence centre for paediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as for teaching and research. Around 900 employees dedicate themselves daily with their commitment and professional and scientific expertise to the medical care of patients. Thanks to the passion of the staff for their work, it is possible to maintain hospital operations at a high quality level.
Role:
The focus of this position is the support of modern application solutions in the clinical environment. As an interface between medical departments and technical IT, you contribute to ensuring stable applications and continuously developing digital processes.
In addition to operational application support, you take on tasks in projects, releases, and the optimisation of existing processes. You bring in your technical expertise as well as your understanding of the requirements of the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
Support and continuous optimisation of clinical applications
Analysis and resolution of application, configuration, and interface issues
Coordination of 2nd-level requests and collaboration with external suppliers at 3rd level
Support of releases, changes, and technical requirements
Consultation and support of key users in the specialist departments
Creation of technical documentation, instructions, and support materials as well as participation in specialist and project groups
Qualifications:
Training or degree in computer science, medical informatics, or a comparable qualification
Ideally experience in healthcare and with clinical information systems
At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role
Basic knowledge of medical data interfaces, for example HL7 or FHIR
Strong customer and service orientation as well as an independent and structured way of working
Interest in new technologies and willingness to actively further develop existing processes; good German language skills
