Financial leadership with entrepreneurial scope for design
HPV Rorschach supports people with support needs in the areas of living, working, education and training. As a significant social institution in Eastern Switzerland, with 354 employees, HPV combines social mission with entrepreneurial thinking and a professional organisation. As part of an early planned succession arrangement, we at PMS SCHÖNENBERGER AG have been commissioned to search for a committed and entrepreneurially minded personality as Commercial Management / CFO.
Tasks You will take on a central key role in a versatile and socially relevant organisation. As a member of the management team, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring the economic stability and sustainable development of HPV Rorschach. You will operate in a demanding environment with different business models, financing forms and stakeholders. You understand how to quickly grasp complex contexts, create financial transparency and translate business management issues into concrete leadership and decision-making bases. In addition to financial management, you actively shape the further development of processes, systems and organisational structures. As a sparring partner to the managing director, you make an important contribution to the strategic development of the entire organisation and help set the course for the future.
Your main tasks:
- Overall responsibility for finance and accounting, controlling and reporting
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, liquidity and investment planning
- Responsibility for annual financial statements, financial planning and internal control systems
- Sparring partner for management and the board on financial and strategic issues
- Leadership and further development of the administration area
- Coordination of IT tasks and participation in digitalisation and organisational development projects
- Further development of management and control instruments
Requirements You have a solid education in finance and accounting as well as several years of experience in a responsible leadership position. In addition to your professional competence, you convince with entrepreneurial thinking, analytical strength, team player qualities and the ability to quickly grasp complex contexts.
Ideally, you bring:
- Advanced training in finance and accounting (expert in accounting & controlling or comparable)
- Strong skills in controlling, budgeting and corporate management
- High IT and process affinity, ideally experience with ERP systems (Abacus an advantage)
- Networked thinking and enjoyment of complex organisational structures
- Leadership experience as well as clear and appreciative communication
- Down-to-earth attitude, team orientation and service understanding
Experience in the social environment or in non-profit organisations is welcome but not a requirement.
