Role:

In this role, you take responsibility for defined categories and further develop strategic procurement together with internal departments and international suppliers.

You combine technical understanding with supplier management, market observation, and cost optimisation. A structured induction with insights into operational processes and internal procedures provides the foundation to manage your categories independently and in the long term.

Responsibilities:

• You further develop procurement strategies for your categories

• You evaluate, support, and develop international suppliers

• You negotiate prices, terms, and delivery conditions

• You support internal departments on procurement-related topics

• You ensure material availability with the most efficient inventory management possible

• You monitor procurement markets and derive appropriate measures

• You maintain relevant purchasing and planning data

• You contribute to the further development of global category management

Qualifications:

• You have a technical basic education and further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate, purchasing manager with a federal diploma, technical business administrator with a federal certificate, or a certified business economist HF.

• You bring several years of experience in strategic purchasing and category management

• You have extensive experience in procuring technical components

• You negotiate confidently in German and English

• You work analytically, independently, and solution-oriented

• You are confident in an international environment and are willing to travel
