For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the field of special machine construction and technical plant solutions, we are looking for an independent, travel-friendly and technically strong personality as an International Service Technician Mechanical Engineering 80-100% (m/f) in the Baden AG area.
In this role, you will look after sophisticated machines and systems directly at the customer’s site. You will assist with assembly, commissioning, service, fault analysis and technical process support. You will combine mechanical understanding, electrical engineering know-how and a confident manner in an international environment.
This position is suitable for a professional who enjoys travelling, understands complex technology and takes pleasure in professionally supporting customers with demanding machine solutions.
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of machines and systems at the customer’s site
- Support with installation, commissioning, functional testing and acceptance of technical systems
- Analysis and rectification of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or control technology faults
- Technical and process-related support of customers during commissioning and service assignments
- Performing maintenance, repairs, modifications and optimisations on existing systems
- Instruction and support of customer personnel in handling machines and technical processes
- Collaboration with engineering, automation, assembly, spare parts service and project managers
- Documentation of completed work, technical feedback and service reports
- Ensuring a professional, customer-oriented and solution-focused working approach
- Experience in mechanical engineering, plant construction, service, commissioning or technical customer service is an advantage
- Good combination of mechanical understanding, electrical engineering and control technology
- Knowledge of pneumatics, drive technology, sensors, actuators or PLC controls is an advantage
- Experience with Beckhoff, TwinCAT, Siemens or comparable control systems is an advantage
- Confident handling of technical drawings, electrical schematics, assembly documents and service documentation
- High willingness to travel for international assignments
- Independent, resilient and customer-oriented personality
- Confident appearance, good communication skills and enjoyment in customer contact
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Driving licence category B is an advantage

Responsibilities
