This is what you can achieve:
- Responsibility as a full-time trainer for the practical and theoretical training of track construction apprentices in their first year
- Supporting and challenging the groups of apprentices during productive assignments on track construction sites of SBB and other partner companies in the Bern, Emmental and Bernese Oberland area
- Substituting trainer colleagues during assignments in the Olten, Central Switzerland and Basel areas
- Role model in dealing with young people and in complying with safety regulations
- Continuous monitoring of learning objective achievement as well as conducting qualifications -
- Planning, conducting and evaluating taster apprenticeships on the work sites
This is what you bring:
- Completed apprenticeship as a track construction worker with several years of professional experience as well as completed further training as a foreman in track construction
- Valid certificate in the function of safety officer as well as driving licence category B
- Experience as a part-time trainer is an advantage
- Enjoyment in imparting theoretical and practical expertise to young adults
- Strong social skills, high service orientation as well as good MS Office knowledge
