Architect Project Management Cultural Buildings (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the architectural project management of demanding cultural buildings in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. You will accompany high-quality construction projects from design through execution planning to realisation and ensure the aesthetic, technical and organisational quality of the projects. The focus is on coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams, managing complex planning processes and liaising with clients, authorities and specialist planners. The position combines a high architectural and constructive standard with professional project management in a culturally influenced construction environment.
Responsibilities:
Taking over the architectural project management for demanding cultural and public buildings
Managing projects from design through approval and execution planning to realisation
Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary teams of architecture, specialist planning and external experts
Responsibility for planning quality, deadlines and project organisation as well as ongoing monitoring of project progress
Coordinating interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services, building physics, acoustics and fire protection
Developing and ensuring the quality of demanding construction, materialisation and detail solutions
Organising and leading planning, specialist planner and coordination meetings as well as following up on decisions and pending issues
Liaising with clients, authorities, specialist offices and other project participants during the planning and realisation phases
Ensuring planning complies with SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and project-specific requirements
Coordinating and ensuring the quality of project, execution and detail plans as well as the associated planning documentation
Providing planning support during tendering and execution and handling technical and design issues on site
Qualifications:
Completed studies in Architecture ETH/FH or comparable higher education
Several years of professional experience in project management of demanding architectural and building projects in Switzerland
Experience with cultural, educational or public buildings is an advantage
Solid knowledge in project, execution and detail planning as well as interdisciplinary specialist planner coordination
Very good design, constructive and technical understanding
Thorough knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations
Very good German language skills spoken and written
