Network Engineer (Fortinet & Microsoft)

Your Tasks

• Planning, implementation, and support of network projects with a focus on Fortinet, routing, switching, and firewalls
• Development and further development of IT networks specifically for SME clients
• Integration of modern network solutions in Microsoft environments (Azure, M365) including SD-WAN and Azure Networking
• Monitoring, analysing, and improving network security through firewall policies, intrusion detection, and threat prevention
• Supporting customers with technical questions regarding security and network architectures as well as collaborating with sales on offer preparation

Our Requirements

• Completed training in IT systems engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience in networking with solid knowledge in routing, switching, and firewall management
• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, M365 as well as Azure Networking and SD-WAN
• Confident handling of network security policies and monitoring tools to defend against cyberattacks
• Certifications in networking (e.g. Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP) are an advantage
• Driving licence category B as well as fluent German and good English skills
