About the job

For a modern clinic in the Bern area, we are looking for a committed qualified nurse for the day clinic. You will take on a versatile role in outpatient patient care and support patients before and after medical procedures.

The position offers regular working hours from Monday to Friday as well as a varied field of activity with a lot of personal responsibility and interprofessional collaboration.

Your Tasks

Professional and individual care and support of patients
Implementation of medical orders as well as participation in diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive measures
Pre- and postoperative care of outpatient patients
Conducting nursing consultations and preparation for procedures
Assessment of care situations and independent clinical decision-making
Ensuring professional documentation and quality of care
Support in adjacent specialist areas if required
Work in a 2-shift system from Monday to Friday (approx. 06:15-20:00, individual working days by arrangement)

Our Requirements

Completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH or equivalent qualification
Professional experience in an acute hospital is an advantage
High flexibility, resilience and strong organisational skills
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2)
Good user knowledge in IT and digital documentation
Strong social skills and empathetic interaction with patients
Experience with patient monitoring is an advantage
