Project Manager Automation Technology (m/f/d)

In this position, you develop and implement automation projects for industrial process plants and accompany them from technical planning to successful commissioning. You coordinate all project activities, develop economical solution concepts, and ensure the timely implementation of complex automation systems. As the central contact person, you work closely with customers, internal departments, and external partners and actively contribute to successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Planning and creation of technical documentation for automation and process control systems
Independent management and coordination of automation projects considering costs, deadlines, and quality
Planning, configuration, testing, and commissioning of industrial networks and fieldbus systems
Support of hardware commissioning as well as coordination and technical support of external partners at the end customer
Execution of national and international customer deployments within the scope of project implementations
Support in the preparation of calculations, offers, and technical solution concepts
Development of project strategies, cost estimates, and implementation concepts for automation and switchgear projects
Close collaboration with customers and interdisciplinary project teams to ensure efficient project execution
Participation in the continuous optimisation of technical standards and project processes
Qualifications:
Completed basic training in electrical engineering, for example as an automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, or equivalent
Further training as a technician HF or engineer FH specialising in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
Sound knowledge in electrical engineering, automation technology, as well as measurement, control, and regulation technology
Experience in planning, implementation, or commissioning of industrial automation systems
Knowledge in the field of industrial networks, bus systems, and switchgear is an advantage
Interest in technical innovations and enjoyment of varied project tasks
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong conceptual skills as well as economic understanding
Communicative personality with high customer orientation and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel occasionally within the scope of project and commissioning assignments
Fluent German skills
