Technical Consultant 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is looking for a committed Technical Consultant (m/f/d) who combines technical understanding with sales skills and acts as the interface between innovative precast concrete production and demanding construction projects.

• You are the technical face for our customers - architectural and engineering offices rely on your expertise

• You acquire exciting new build, conversion and renovation projects and accompany them from the start

• You develop design proposals and customised solutions - often hand in hand with our engineers and designers

• You take care of the entire sales process: calculations, quotations, order confirmations and documentation for public tenders are part of your daily routine (this accounts for about 80% of your work)

• You independently and actively follow up on quotations and offers throughout the entire sales process

• You are present with construction companies, engineers, architects and general contractors - personal contact is important to you

• You further develop existing customer relationships and win new customers for us

• You plan and carry out sales activities - whereby the sales itself only accounts for about 20% of your time

What do I need to be successful?

To be successful in this position, you ideally bring the following qualifications and characteristics:

• A vocational training in the main construction trade (bricklayer) with appropriate further training or a completed degree as a civil engineer

• Professional experience in the construction industry; initial experience in precast concrete production would be a great advantage

• A flair for negotiations, enjoyment of customer consulting and persuasiveness

• Passion for complex and unusual challenges and enthusiasm for the fusion of technology and calculation

• The ability to set priorities and work in a structured manner

• Good oral and written language skills in German and French

• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel

• Advantageous: user knowledge of a 3D/BIM planning software

• You are sales- and contact-friendly, success-oriented, a fan of the construction industry and especially precast concrete production, solution-oriented and persistent
