At the University Psychiatric Centre Bern, we create digital solutions that support our employees in their daily work and thus make an important contribution to modern psychiatric care. For this purpose, we continuously develop our applications and systems further – reliably, securely and future-oriented. As a DotNet Developer, you bring your technical know-how to where it really makes a difference. You further develop existing applications, implement new functions and work closely with business analysts, specialist departments, IT and external partners. With your quality awareness and enthusiasm for modern technologies, you actively shape the digital development of the UPZ.
Your tasks
- You develop, maintain and optimise applications based on Microsoft .NET, C# and modern web technologies
- You analyse technical requirements, develop solution proposals and implement them in close collaboration with business analysts, specialist departments and IT
- You design and implement interfaces, APIs and integrations between internal and external systems
- You contribute to the further development of existing application landscapes and actively bring in ideas for technical improvements
- You ensure high software quality through clean code, tests, documentation and code reviews
- You support error analyses, performance optimisations and 2nd-/3rd-level support for defined applications
- You accompany releases, deployments and technical changes and ensure that new solutions are stably transferred into operation
- You work on projects for digitalisation and process support and contribute to the sustainable further development of the IT landscape
Your profile
- You have completed training or studies in computer science, software engineering, business informatics or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in software development with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core and relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server, and have practical experience in developing web applications, interfaces and service-oriented architectures
- You have experience with Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps or comparable development and deployment tools
- You have a good understanding of software architecture, clean code, testing and secure development
- You enjoy analysing technical issues, developing pragmatic solutions and continuously improving existing systems
- You bring team spirit, initiative and a structured, reliable working style
- You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
