About the job
Would you like to independently shape nursing care and at the same time be part of a strong team? The University Clinic for Gynaecology at the Inselspital Bern is one of the leading medical centres for gynaecology. In our gynaecological outpatient clinic, we support women in a wide variety of life situations – from preventative care and gynaecological complaints to emergency situations and specialised consultations such as endometriosis, dysplasia, and urogynaecology. What makes our work special? No day is like the other. You work independently, take on responsibility, and actively contribute your nursing expertise to interprofessional collaboration.
What to expect
- You advise and support patients by telephone, conduct triage, and coordinate further treatment
- You care for gynaecological emergency patients and, together with the on-duty doctors, initiate the necessary first measures
- In our intervention room, you take on a variety of nursing tasks such as infusion therapies, port-a-cath punctures, blood sampling, and wound care
- In the field of urogynaecology, you independently carry out diagnostic and therapeutic measures
- You contribute your experience and ideas and actively help shape the further development of our outpatient clinic
What you bring
- You are a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH and ideally have experience from an acute hospital and/or gynaecology
- Further training or experience in wound management is very welcome
- You enjoy working independently, take responsibility, and keep an overview even when many things are happening at once
- You like variety, are flexible, and appreciate working in an interprofessional environment
- You communicate confidently in German and can make yourself understood in French. Additional language skills are a plus
- You are familiar with digital work tools and reliably complete the associated administrative tasks
Our offer
- Plannable working hours from Monday to Friday without fixed working days
- A thorough and comprehensive introduction – we will not leave you alone in your new role
- A varied activity with a lot of personal responsibility and professional variety
- An innovative working environment where you can contribute your ideas and experience
- A committed, humorous team that supports each other and lives a respectful collaboration
- Attractive opportunities for professional and personal development
