Real Estate Valuation Expert or Lawyer Objections Real Estate Valuation 80-100% fixed-term until 31.12.2028
Exciting tasks await:
- Independent legal and/or technical examination and processing of objections to real estate valuations
- Preparation, conduct and leadership of objection negotiations (including structured discussion management and securing results) – on site if necessary
- Drafting of objection decisions: clear justification, thorough balancing of interests, comprehensible derivation of the decision, formally correct
- Independent valuation of plots and properties according to cantonal guidelines
- Organisation of valuations in the municipalities in cooperation with the municipal tax offices, technical assessment of valuations as well as conducting price surveys to determine the market level
What you bring:
- Completed studies (HF, FH, ETH) with a focus on construction, real estate or architecture or completed studies in law (MLaw, lic. iur.)
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in administrative/procedural law, tax environment, public administration or in the real estate/construction industry (valuation/estimation advantageous)
- Further training as a certified real estate appraiser or equivalent or willingness to deepen knowledge in valuation methodology and market data
- Strong analytical thinking skills; interest in numbers and data (basic statistics advantageous)
- Strong planning and organisational skills as well as a structured working method and willingness for occasional fieldwork (e.g. on-site negotiations, object clarifications, property inspections)

Your working environment
The Cantonal Tax Office (KStA) is responsible for the enforcement of cantonal and federal tax laws. The municipalities assess and collect taxes from natural persons; the KStA performs the supervisory function. All other types of taxes are assessed and collected by the KStA itself. Furthermore, the KStA prepares the basis for financial planning and tax policy on behalf of the government council. Our approximately 710,000 inhabitants and the 198 municipal administrations expect qualified services from us daily.
