Grinding & CNC Finishing Team Leader (M/F)

Job Summary

As part of a confidential recruitment, we are seeking a Grinding Sector Team Leader (Preparation and Mechanised Finishing). In this key role, you will orchestrate daily operations while supporting the skills development of your team on high-precision equipment.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Team management and leadership: Supervise, organise and motivate the grinding and mechanised finishing team on a daily basis.

• Production management: Plan workloads, assign tasks and ensure deadlines, quality and safety requirements are met.

• Technical expertise and adjustments: Oversee and optimise the preparation, settings and operation of the machine fleet (CNC Recomatic and Crevoisier).

• Continuous improvement: Identify areas for manufacturing process enhancement, reduce setup times and maximise operational efficiency.

• Skills development: Support the integration, ongoing training and technical upskilling of your colleagues.

• Mandatory managerial experience: You have proven and confirmed experience in team management within an industrial environment.

• Essential technical expertise: In-depth knowledge and proven practice on CNC Recomatic CT500 / CT501 and/or CNC Crevoisier machines.

• Education: Technical training in microtechnology, precision mechanics, machining or equivalent.

• Natural leader: You demonstrate excellent communication, listening skills and assertive yet caring leadership.

• Rigour and precision: Quality and detail-oriented, you uphold a high standard of finishing.

• Proactivity and responsiveness: Ability to analyse and resolve technical or organisational problems on site.
