On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual for the overall management of demanding construction projects for an established engineering, architecture, and planning company. The company supports public and private clients from project development through planning to realisation and stands for innovative solutions, high quality standards, and sustainable construction methods.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for complex construction projects across all project phases
Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams, specialist planners, and contractors
Responsibility for costs, schedules, quality, and project risks
Direct support and advice to clients, investors, and authorities
Management of project organisation and ensuring efficient processes
Conducting project controlling, reporting, and resource planning
Leading tendering and awarding processes
Responsibility for contract, supplementary claims, and claim management
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, standards, and quality norms
Participation in acquisition and development of new projects
Qualifications:
Education in construction with further training as a civil engineer FH/ETH, architect FH/ETH, or technician HF construction planning
Further training in project management, business administration, or construction economics is an advantage
Several years of experience as a project manager, senior project manager, or overall project manager in the Swiss construction environment
Sound knowledge of construction administration, cost management, and contract law
Very good knowledge of Swiss standards, SIA guidelines, and construction processes
