You ensure that central security components function reliably and are continuously further developed. You manage both the web application firewall and IAM environment as well as internal and external firewalls. You combine operational engineering with security thinking and work closely with internal departments and external specialists.
Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop our web application firewall (WAF) as well as the identity and access management environment.
You administer internal and external firewall systems and ensure their secure and stable operation.
You take on monitoring, backup as well as incident, problem and change management for your systems.
You analyse the existing infrastructure, conduct capacity analyses and identify optimisation potentials early.
You plan and coordinate technical measures and check their successful implementation.
You collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners and contribute your security expertise to technical issues.
You independently acquire new knowledge and regularly exchange ideas with external specialists.
You actively contribute to keeping the security infrastructure stable, available and future-proof.
Qualifications:
You have a higher vocational education in computer science (HF/FH) or a comparable education and training in the IT field.
A focus or practical experience in IT security is an advantage.
Ideally, you are familiar with PKI, SAML or comparable authentication and federation procedures.
You think analytically and conceptually and can quickly grasp technical contexts.
You work independently, structured and solution-oriented and enjoy continuously developing yourself.
You speak flawless German.
