About the job
Since 1958, the Nicolas Bogueret Foundation, created by the Protestant Social Centre (CSP), has maintained, designed and developed housing for people and families with modest incomes, young people in training and seniors. Owner of about ten buildings in Geneva, it continues its development driven by a strong conviction: social housing excludes neither architectural quality nor attention to finishing. Through its buildings, it cultivates genuine social and intergenerational diversity. To strengthen its team and assist its Secretary General, it has commissioned us to search for its future
Real Estate Project Manager (80-100%)
Join a Geneva foundation that builds quality social housing
Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Secretary General, you oversee the maintenance of the property portfolio in connection with partner management companies and implement monitoring tools. You manage ongoing maintenance projects, from tendering to completion, identify and plan renovation work in occupied sites, and validate payments by verifying that the invoiced services correspond to the work actually carried out. You know how to challenge management companies and contractors on their proposals, whether it is preferring a more durable material, questioning the schedule or renewing a service provider. For new projects (additions, energy renovations, new acquisitions, responses to calls for projects), you manage in close collaboration with the agents, prepare and lead preparatory, tender and site monitoring meetings, question architectural choices and ensure the financial management of projects, in tandem with the Secretary General.
Your profile
With a university education and/or in the field of architecture or real estate (IEI, federal certificate or equivalent), you have proven experience in managing real estate projects and supervising works, ideally gained within a small-sized structure (pension fund, cooperative, management company or real estate SME) in Geneva. You have good knowledge of financial project management and know how to prepare and monitor a budget or financial plan. You know how to assert yourself with agents while remaining attentive and a good communicator. Organised, flexible and versatile, you are willing to invest beyond your scope: the Foundation operates with a team of three people, where each may be required to replace the other. An expert in the Geneva area and benefiting from a solid network, you share the conviction that the quality of housing does not depend on the income of those who live in it.
