Independent conduct of demanding price and contract negotiations as well as the development of economically attractive procurement solutions

Identification and realisation of savings potential through targeted market analyses, supplier comparisons and optimisation of existing purchasing structures

Ongoing monitoring of international procurement markets, technological developments and potential supply risks

Evaluation and selection of new suppliers considering technical requirements, quality standards and economic criteria

Close cooperation with the departments of development, production and quality management, especially when introducing new products and components

Active participation in the further development of procurement processes as well as in the optimisation of supplier and product group strategies

Ensuring reliable material supply through forward-looking planning and early detection of possible bottlenecks

Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally with an international focus

Sound knowledge in the procurement of electronic components as well as a good understanding of technical contexts and industrial manufacturing processes

Proven experience in the selection, support and development of international suppliers

Strong negotiation skills as well as a good sense of economic contexts, market mechanisms and cost structures

Analytical and structured thinking with the ability to assess complex procurement situations and develop suitable solutions

Independent, responsible and goal-oriented personality who makes decisions and can convincingly represent their interests

Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration with technical and commercial departments

Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative and motivation to critically question existing processes and actively further develop them

Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

Completed technical or commercial basic training with appropriate further education or an advanced degree in a relevant field
