Senior IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Technically responsible for network projects from design and conception through migration to commissioning.
Operate and optimise network and security infrastructures with switching, routing, WLAN, firewalls, and SD-WAN.
Analyse complex faults in 3rd-level support and ensure stability, security, scalability, and availability.
Further develop monitoring, standardisation, and automation for efficient and reliable operational processes.
Design network architectures together with systems engineering and security, and pass on know-how through documentation and technical mentoring.
Qualifications:
Training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally supplemented by HF/FH further education, and several years of experience in network engineering.
Sound knowledge in routing, switching, WLAN, firewalls, SD-WAN, as well as network and security architectures.
Practical experience with FortiGate and network environments from Aruba, Juniper, or Cisco.
Experience with network modernisations, migrations, firewall concepts, and demanding troubleshooting; manufacturer certifications are an advantage.
Analytical and team-oriented working style as well as very good German and good English skills.
