Tasks

• You will learn everything about care and support in long-term care in an environment that is committed to training and promoting young talent and provides the necessary resources in full.
• You will learn and experience with us how exciting, varied and attractive the collaboration of qualified nurses, doctors and other medical professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists is.
• You have the opportunity to participate in insight days in internal areas such as case discussions and medical therapies and to get to know the different focuses in long-term care in depth in various departments.
• You will be accompanied by well-qualified trainers during your studies and benefit from the exchange with other students and trainees in your department.

Profile

• Team spirit and enjoyment in dealing with people
• Skill in practical work, care and hygiene awareness
• Networked thinking, sense of responsibility and service orientation
• A completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ), specialised middle school certificate or Matura
• Ability for professional communication and relationship building

We offer

As a student of the Higher Technical School for Nursing (HF) you will become part of the team with us and get to know nursing in all its facets – from long-term care, through dementia, geriatrics, gerontopsychiatry to palliative care and rehabilitative transitional care.

The full-time course lasts three years but can be shortened to two years if you are a trained health professional EFZ. We also offer a part-time course, which can be completed within four years at 60% workload.
