Carpenter/Joiner (Fitter) 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• The existing team starts work early, from 05:00. Even though we operate during the day and have a 40-hour week, it is therefore important that work does not start only at 08:00, as one depends on the help of other team members.

• Processing and assembling prefabricated parts made of transformer board according to specifications and drawings

• Processing prefabricated small parts according to specifications and drawings

• Operating woodworking machines (mobile, stationary), the grooving machine, table saw, lathe and cylindrical machines with the necessary measuring tools

• Assembling outlets, electrodes, cylinder packages and complex HVDC outlet systems according to specifications and drawings

• Pouring electrodes

• Operating the grooving machine and cylindrical machines

• Self-inspection of the manufactured goods

• Order processing and material ordering in SAP R3 / PP module

• Managing the material warehouse including bookings in SAP R3 / PP module

• Adjusting and reporting back on production orders in SAP R3 / PP module

• Assisting in the manufacture and development of aids

• Training new employees in operating the lathe and assembling HVDC

What do I need to be successful?

• Qualified carpenter/joiner EBA or EFZ

• Experience in woodworking is essential, if not formally trained then several years of professional experience

• Manual dexterity

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Languages: good to very good German skills spoken and written, additional languages such as English, Croatian and/or Ukrainian are an advantage
