Role:
In this role, you take professional responsibility for the clinical information system including performance recording and ensure a stable, efficient operation through parameterisation, organisation, and support. You are responsible for data quality, create meaningful evaluations, and derive decision-making bases for the clinical environment. In addition, you actively shape projects for the introduction and further development of applications and accompany the integration of new solutions into existing processes. In close collaboration with medical and other specialist departments, IT, and software providers, you clarify requirements, translate medical needs into technical specifications, and ensure clear communication. Additionally, you support training, answer complex user queries, and continuously develop the clinical information system in the sense of modern, patient-oriented care.
Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the clinical information system and performance recording, including parameterisation, organisation, and support.
- In this role, you ensure data quality and create meaningful reports and evaluations.
- As the clinical information system specialist, you actively participate in projects for planning, implementation, and integration of new solutions as well as system adjustments.
- You coordinate collaboration with specialist departments, IT, and software suppliers and clarify requirements and technical issues.
- In this role, you support the creation of training materials and conduct training sessions for users.
- You provide application support, answer user questions, and resolve issues for all involved professional groups.
Qualifications:
- You have completed vocational training with a focus on IT, healthcare, or a comparable qualification (e.g. medical informatics, business informatics).
- You have practical experience in application responsibility (e.g. CIS, ERP, or comparable systems) or in a clinical environment.
- You are tech-savvy, work confidently with Windows systems, and ideally have basic knowledge of SQL.
- You are familiar with hospital processes and the clinical treatment environment or are motivated to quickly acquire this knowledge.
- You communicate appropriately for the audience, mediate confidently between specialist departments and IT, and explain complex content clearly.
- You work in a structured, service-oriented, and networked manner, prioritise user requests, and find pragmatic, solution-oriented approaches.
