Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the IT system landscape and ensure that all servers, clients and networks function reliably. You plan, install and configure systems and applications, perform updates and patches, and ensure comprehensive documentation. You also analyse and resolve faults, optimise existing infrastructures and support internal stakeholders with technical queries. You are responsible for implementing security and backup concepts, thereby making a significant contribution to the availability and integrity of the IT environment. As a professional, you contribute your own ideas to improve processes and sensibly integrate new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- You support users in first- and basic second-level support via ticket system, telephone, email, Teams and on site.
- In this role, you analyse and resolve issues related to Windows 11, Microsoft 365, user accounts and standard applications.
- As an entry-level IT system administrator, you accompany onboarding and offboarding processes including access permissions, device setup and account configuration.
- You manage workstations and end devices with endpoint management tools such as Intune and take care of hardware setup as well as maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals.
- In this role, you monitor IT operational tasks such as device status, security, backups and IT assets, maintain documentation and update the knowledge base.
- You work closely with senior engineers as well as L2/L3 teams and support training on phishing simulations and recurring IT trainings.
Qualifications:
- Initial experience or strong interest in IT support (L1 or junior L2 area)
- Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Basic understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
- Willingness to work practically with hardware, peripherals and ticket systems
- Advantageous: basic knowledge of PowerShell or Linux
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented thinking, precise working style and very good English skills
