Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a sales-strong personality for an established trading company in the field of wood-based materials, interior construction, and building supplies. The company offers its customers high-quality products and individual solutions for interior construction, wood processing, as well as the carpentry and construction trades, impressing with high expertise and customer proximity.
Responsibilities:
Care and further development of existing customer relationships in the wood and interior construction market
Acquisition of new customers among carpentries, timber construction companies, general contractors, and specialist dealers
Consultation on wood-based materials, fittings, and interior construction products
Conducting customer visits and technical product presentations
Preparation and follow-up of quotations in cooperation with the internal sales department
Support of customers in project and product selection
Management of project business from inquiry to completion
Market and competitor observation as well as identification of new sales opportunities
Responsibility for achieving sales and growth targets in the sales area
Qualifications:
Basic training as a carpenter EFZ, joiner EFZ, wood processor EFZ or comparable
Further training as a sales specialist with a federal diploma or technical sales specialist with a federal diploma is an advantage
Several years of experience in field service or sales in the wood, interior construction, or building materials environment
Good knowledge of the Swiss carpentry, timber construction, or interior construction market
Very good German skills as well as confident handling of MS Office and CRM systems
