Role:

Good business software is created where process knowledge and technology come together. As an ERP project manager, you independently lead implementation and migration projects around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) from the initial analysis to stable operation. You are the central contact person for customers, developers, and departments. With your sense for business processes, you design solutions that really work in everyday life.

Responsibilities:

• You lead implementation, migration, and further development projects and manage phases, resources, milestones, and dependencies.

• In workshops, you analyse existing business processes, define target processes with customers, and translate requirements into solution concepts for finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, or personnel.

• You are responsible for the configuration and implementation of solutions and decide between standard, interface, or custom development.

• Furthermore, you design interfaces to third-party systems and plan data migrations including mapping, cleansing, and validation of master and transactional data.

• Test cases, acceptance tests, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare are also in your hands.

• Additionally, you support customers after implementation and further develop their system landscape through optimisation, digitalisation, and automation.

Qualifications:

• You bring several years of experience in leading ERP, business software, or comparable IT projects.

• A technical or commercial education forms your basis, and you combine IT understanding with solid process knowledge.

• You are at home in requirements engineering and confidently create process and solution concepts.

• You understand the interaction of applications, databases, and adjacent systems and are familiar with test, release, and go-live processes from practice.

• Furthermore, you work confidently with classic and agile project management methods and keep an overview even with several parallel project streams.

• You also communicate fluently in German and convince customers and developers with clear, solution-oriented communication.
