Service Technician 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Support and maintenance of level crossing systems and permanent warning systems (PWA) for customers at home and abroad

• Taking over technical support, analysing faults and ensuring a quick and competent solution - by phone, in writing or directly on site, also at foreign subsidiaries

• Function as a competent contact person and interface to customers with professional support as well as conducting training and instructions

• Creation of service orders and reliable documentation and reporting of completed work in the ERP system

• Support for production and assembly departments as needed and participation in the on-call team for fault rectification

• Deputising for the service manager and support in technical and organisational matters

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical training as an electrician, electronics technician, automation technician or comparable

• Several years of professional experience in technical support or after-sales service

• Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for fault finding

• Confident handling of MS Office, ERP and time recording systems

• Very good German skills as well as good English and French skills

• High willingness to travel (approx. 40% domestic and abroad) as well as willingness for on-call duties

• Driving licence category B

• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented, professional appearance

• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
