Logistics Manager

As a logistics manager, you participate in the smooth running of the Aubonne school establishment and its surroundings and collaborate continuously with teachers and pupils. Thus, you will contribute not only to administrative efficiency but also to the overall success of the educational mission entrusted to compulsory education in Vaud.

• Ensure the management of stock for school supplies and equipment.
• Handle orders, preparation, and distribution of school supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with financial resources and maintain the economat's cash register.
• Collaborate with the school management, teachers, and municipal staff for proper economat management.
• Provide administrative follow-up of the economat.

The role involves handling heavy loads and requires the use of handling equipment.

Working hours are annualised to compensate for a number of school holiday weeks and a heavier workload, especially at the beginning and end of the school year.

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a logistician (storage, transport or distribution) or equivalent qualification required
• Three years of professional experience since obtaining the CFC, or experience in a similar logistics position
• Driving licence required and forklift licence desired
• Knowledge of standard office software and stock management software required
• Knowledge of the school environment desired
• Sense of responsibility, customer orientation and public service ethics
• Listening and communication skills, spirit of mutual aid and collaboration
• Ability to organise and manage time, self-control and stress management
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
