The position is attached to the Department of Women, Children and Adolescents . This department's mission is to provide quality care tailored to the needs of women at every stage of their lives and to the health problems faced by newborns, children and adolescents from birth up to the age of 16. It works on the development of cutting-edge services and centres of expertise in specialties.

The service also includes a Breast Centre, ensuring comprehensive management of breast pathologies, from prevention to diagnosis, through to medical and surgical treatments, in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Furthermore, the orthogeny activity provides specific and personalised support to patients in the context of voluntary termination of pregnancy and sexual and reproductive health, respecting choices, confidentiality and the current regulatory framework.
The surgical and medical gynaecology care unit provides care for patients both inpatient and outpatient.
The service welcomes patients for surgical and outpatient care related to the main gynaecological pathologies, including gynaecological oncology, breast pathologies, pelvic pathologies as well as activities linked to orthogeny.
Care is provided within a coordinated, multidisciplinary care pathway focused on quality, safety and patient support.
