Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced leader to head the project management in the energy and infrastructure sector. You will be responsible for a diverse project portfolio and ensure the professional planning, control, and implementation of investment and infrastructure projects. You will lead teams, coordinate internal and external project partners, and be responsible for costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks. The focus is on future-oriented energy and supply infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
Leading the project management division for energy and infrastructure projects
Technical and personnel leadership and development of employees
Responsibility for a strategic project portfolio including prioritisation and resource planning
Management of costs, deadlines, quality, risks, and budgets
Leading demanding investment and infrastructure projects from the concept phase to commissioning
Coordination of engineering offices, specialist planners, contractors, authorities, and suppliers
Development and implementation of project management standards, processes, and methods
Preparation of project controlling, forecasts, management reports, and decision-making bases
Support for tenders, awards, contract negotiations, and change management
Further development of projects in the areas of energy supply, network infrastructure, and renewable energies
Ensuring economical and sustainable project execution
Supporting management in the strategic development of the project portfolio
Qualifications:
Completed FH/ETH degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy technology or a comparable field
Several years of experience in leading complex energy or infrastructure projects
Sound knowledge of project management, project controlling, investment planning, and contract management
Several years of leadership experience as well as experience in managing interdisciplinary project teams
Knowledge of energy infrastructure, power grids, heat supply, or renewable energies is an advantage
Experience with SIA project phases, tenders, and Swiss construction processes
Very good German skills and good English skills are an advantage
